Paul has been practicing real estate for over 12 years, and was mentored by his father in-law, who had a successful career in real estate for over 30 years. During his time in real estate, Paul has sold more than 425+ homes. He has a long record of success in guiding his clients through the selling and buying process. He educates his clients through the pricing of the property, marketing strategies, contract negotiations, contract timelines, and provides exceptional communication throughout the transaction to get to a successful closing.

Paul's high level of guidance can be attributed to his previous career in Construction Management. Paul has a two-year degree in Project Management from CCBC and worked for one of the top construction companies, Whiting-Turner, for more than 6 years as a Project Engineer and Assistant Manager. There he learned the nuts and bolts of construction management from financing the project, estimating the job, managing the construction process from beginning-to-end, and bringing many different people together to meet a common goal. Paul made a decision to change careers from Construction Management to Real Estate because he wanted to be closer to his family and be more involved. It was a great transition because most of what he learned from his time at Whiting-Turner helped shape his career in Real Estate.

As a former US Marine, Paul has a great deal of integrity, leadership, and interpersonal skills that stand out in his everyday work ethic. I started my career in the real estate field in 2006 when I started working with a well known builder. I excelled with every task and sales opportunity I was given. Within my first year I had assisted with the sales in a dozen communities ranging from the condo's in the mid $200's to single family homes reaching up to $1 million and was the "go to" person for other sales people in our division for help with marketing, technology and training. During my time there, I was placed in several communities and was very successful in each one, generating more than $8 million worth of sales each fiscal year. I was personally awarded our Customer Experience Satisfaction award every quarter and my community was also awarded on several occasions. I was recognized not only by my division but throughout the company nationally as a dedicated and successful salesperson and a team player with my managers and co-workers.

Currently, I am a Full Time Agent with Cummings & Co Realtors, located in Lutherville. I found my true passion was working with those customers I was selling to for the builder. I am happy to say that I am still in contact with most all of my previous customers and have been able to help them in other real estate matters, as well as their friends and family members! In 2011 I assisted my customers in the purchase or sale of properties totaling over $3 million dollars, was named Rookie of the Year and joined my previous brokerage's Directors Club for yearly sales totaling $2-$3 mil. In 2015 I was awarded the Rising Star Award through the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors. And in 2016 I was awarded the Distinguished Salesperson Award. I am also the chairperson for the Young Professionals Network (YPN) of GBBR, allowing me to give back to the real estate community. I continue to learn and grow in this industry, and have acquired my ABR, GRI, and SFR designations. Most recently, I earned my CRS, Counsel of Residential Specialists, of which only 3% of all Realtors nationwide have achieved this designation! All of these classes have given me the knowledge and confidence to successfully navigate this sometimes hectic world of real estate and allow me to give the best service possible to my customers.

Before I became a Realtor, I was a professional musician who trained at the Peabody Institute and with the New World Symphony in Miami. I've also shared the stage with Harry Connick, Josh Groban, Dionne Warwick and The Moody Blues. So I know what it means to prepare, collaborate and perform at the highest level.

When I came to real estate, I already had 18 years of experience in property management and maintaining historic properties. I applied the same work ethic I had in the practice room and rehearsal hall to learning how buildings work.

At the Shelter Institute in Woolwich, Maine, I had a crash course in everything from site planning to installing windows to operating a circular saw. Having had the opportunity to participate in building a tiny house from the ground up, I returned with a new appreciation for what's inside the walls of a house.

I love the enduring originality and fine craftsmanship of old architecture. I grew up in Pittsburgh, but the beautiful row houses and distinctive neighborhoods of Baltimore captured me quickly, and for the past 25 years I have called Mount Vernon, Hampden and Roland Park home.

As a city resident, I'm committed to fostering community, particularly through the arts. I am the founder and artistic director of Summer Chamber Music in Roland Park, a free, informal July concert series now in its 10th season.

Playing music requires not only individual skill but also the ability to listen, adjust and change course while in motion. In the quickly changing real estate market, I provide my clients up-to-date information and creative solutions to deal with any challenge.
